The Next Generation of DICOM Image Routing MergeBox™ Gateway is a highly configurable, low cost, robust DICOM image router which compresses and distributes studies across point-to-point connections within the facility and out to any remote location for consultation purposes. MergeBox™ Gateway provides image distribution, ease of serviceability, queue management, DICOM standard encryption, and image compression. Any physician can read the studies using the MergeBox™ Gateway Reference Viewer to determine if further diagnosis or additional acquisition views are required. With the number of diverse imaging devices located throughout today's healthcare environment, it becomes necessary to connect and centralize them for maximum productivity. MergeBox™ Gateway easily manages this process. Making sure the studies sent actually arrive at their intended location is a mission critical necessity. MergeBox™ Gateway provides peace of mind through automatic retry, automatic error recovery, and notification of compression and transmission status.

Make multiple routing rules in I Gateway so that files go to several backup servers on site or easily send to an off-site storage facility to store any digital exams securely and conveniently.

CD Production is a great starting point for departments and facilities who wish to go film-less, create teaching archives, or distribute images to patients and referring physicians, thereby eliminating the need for traditional film copies. By utilizing our intuitive I Gateway database, the CD Production feature keeps a master volume and study index and allows for the automatic query and burn based on the workflow rules you decide. Cedara Software offers the software for a Single Disc Burner or Multi-Disc Duplicator - whichever fits your facility best. MergeBox™ Gateway’s CD production capabilities work in conjunction with Nero 7 Ultra Edition Enhanced. CD Production capabilities are also available as a standalone product.
Quality Control MergeBox™ Gateway has the capability to reconcile a DICOM Modality Worklist with the data received from the scanner. This includes the ability to automatically insert or correct DICOM tags in the study, as well as manual correction where necessary. It also offers the ability to merge and split studies and series, to correct cases where the acquired study does not match the worklist (intentionally or accidentally). All of this can be done using the Web based interface to simplify workflow in the department.
