Full value of diagnostic imaging lies in ability to accurately evaluate and document the diagnosis. Automation is often seen as a key enabler to produce accurate diagnostic analysis efficiently. Additionally, automated image processing enables improvement in image quality, so leading to consistently high level of accuracy in diagnostic process.
To accelerate development of advanced clinical applications, Merge OEM has created a comprehensive set of image analysis tools that improve workflow through automation of advanced imaging capabilities such as measurement, positioning, segmentation and registration functions. Tools such as automated shutter, automatic window width, and level or image registration help diagnostic users focus better on exam data and images, thus providing a more efficient diagnostic workflow.
Furthermore, Merge OEM image processing libraries provide capability to improve the image quality of the raw acquired image. The Merge OEM Image Enhancement libraries are able to suppress the noise introduced by the acquisition device while keeping and enhancing anatomical details in the image. Merge OEM Image Enhancement can be fine-tuned for optimal performance and quality. As a result, this software is widely used for number x-ray based modalities.
Merge OEM Image enhancement and automation tools are available as a part of Merge OEM Image Analysis SDK offering, with accompanying palette of run-time distributable components that are easy to integrate and deploy in the end-use product.
