MergeCom-3™ and www.mergecom3.com
This industry-leading DICOM interface toolkit is widely used in medical imaging devices and systems. In September 2008, Merge launched the dedicated www.mergecom3.com site as a resource and community for Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM) developers. The site offers MergeCOM-3™ evaluation downloads, development documentation, code samples and training information. In September, Merge released MergeCOM-3 version 3.8, available for Windows and Linux operating systems and programming in C/C++, C#.Net and Java. Release 3.8 introduces support for several key DICOM standard supplements, as well as improved multi-threading capability, compression support and updated sample applications.

Cedara Advanced Imaging Toolkits
We continue to build our library of advanced imaging applications and tools for OEMs and medical imaging developers worldwide to use in advanced visualization development of oncology, interventional radiology, general radiology/digital x-ray, drug development, CAD, image guided surgery and beyond. New capabilities this year include advances in auto segmentation, introduction of the Cedara X-ray Imaging Pipeline™ and the Cedara fDM Toolkit™. The Cedara X-ray Imaging Pipeline is designed to fully automate the image processing task in an X-ray console application while the Cedara fDM toolkit provides developers with access to key fDM components currently available in the I-Response product.

Cedara OpenEyes™
We’ve updated our popular Cedara OpenEyes image processing, visualization and manipulation platform to better help developers create clinical applications (.NET or JAVA, data model based paradigm, XML), enabling acceleration of application development via plug-and-play imaging development tools. Our latest version includes technology for 2D, 3D and 4D visualization.

Cedara WebScheduler™
Cedara WebScheduler™ is a web based scheduling application for OEMs who need to add this functionality into their imaging business solutions. The technology provides easy patient management and creation of a modality worklist. A convenient incomplete order dashboard provides efficient modality utilization management.

Cedara WebAccess™
This new technology consists of a completely thin client solution that provides fast and easy access to images & reports for the referring physician. This solution requires absolutely no download or installation on the client machine and hence requires minimal maintenance and support. By integrating Cedara WebAccess into PACS applications, OEMs can offer their customers significantly reduced film printing, CD burning and report distribution costs.

Cedara I-Reach™
Cedara I-Reach can become a complete web enabled PACS that facilitates full Internet viewing and diagnostic reading of images, with distribution throughout the enterprise or remotely. It includes a full diagnostic viewing application of choice, a variety of clinical applications, a web server to manage user access and preferences, and a DICOM-compliant archiving solution designed with a scalable architecture to allow for business growth. I-Reach seamlessly launches clinical applications to provide an integrated solution for all your viewing and reading needs using the C4 plug-in technology. I-Reach can now be configured to launch into the eFilm plug-in, allowing customers to launch their favorite viewer in a web-enabled environment.

Cedara I-Response
Cedara I-Response is an application designed to support clinical trials workflows and oncology viewing. I-Response supports key concepts of double-blind reading, registration, advanced segmentation, comparison of multiple time points and support for clinical trials rules. I-Response has three distinct analysis techniques. The base Lesion Analysis package streamlines the clinical trials workflow of creating/exporting the RECIST, WHO and Volume measurements. The PET/CT Analysis package enables users to compare SUV values over multiple timepoints. The Functional Diffusion Mapping (fDM) Analysis package can track changes in tumors at the metabolic or cellular level over multiple time points. fDM is a patented MR tumor analysis technique.

Cedara ProPlanner
This orthopedic application provides digitial templating and measurements for customers needing to add this functionality. Key workflow features include integrated ImageSnap™ technology for fast automated templating, advanced auto stitching, auto calibration and custom measurements.

Cedara I-ReadMammo
Cedara I-ReadMammo has become the mammography toolset of choice for PACS vendors interested in integrating mammography capabilities. As a multi modality, vendor neutral application, Cedara I-ReadMammo was designed to enable radiologists to optimize reading speed and quality of care. Dedicated mammography tools like skinline detection, optimum view and paired tools accelerate image viewing and make comparisons easier.
