Welcome to the Cedara xPipe™ Image Processing Toolkit!
Cedara xPipe is a toolkit comprised of five software modules designed to fully automate image processing tasks performed by CR and DR X-Ray consoles. Packed with automation and highly customizable, Cedara xPipe improves patient throughput by eliminating manual sequences such as window width and level and cropping. The toolkit supports different acquisition technologies as well as different body parts. Optimized for quality and speed, Cedara xPipe is an efficient, dynamic solution for the high-volume x-ray imaging environment.
Designed for the Real World
Everyone knows that in the real world, time is money. DR has the ability to produce very high quality diagnostic images. Getting there can take a lot of time if any processing needs to be done manually. Shutter removal, image enhancement and window level can be time consuming steps in the image acquisition process. Cedara xPipe fully automates these steps, eliminating the need for costly manual adjustment.
A Toolkit of Integrated and Independent Components
Cedara xPipe components are designed to work together, passing data from one stage of the image processing pipeline to the next. Everything you need to take your raw unprocessed image to a high quality diagnostic image is included in the package.
Cedara xPipe components are also designed to work apart. You may already have components to perform some of the image processing steps. The components may be developed in-house or sourced from a third-party. Cedara xPipe components can be independently integrated into your own solution.
Each module is packaged as an application library without any user interface. Cedara xPipe modules include:
Gain and Offset Correction
Cedara Automatic Shutter™
Cedara Exposure Index™
Cedara Automatic Image Stitching™
Cedara Image Enhancement™ (CIE)
Cedara Automatic Window Width and Level™
